Chant 3 Oms to Begin Your Practice
Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and chant three Oms. This helps center your mind and prepares you for a calm, focused practice.

Step-by-step guide:
Find a Comfortable Seated Position: Sit cross-legged. Keep your back straight and your shoulders relaxed.
Prepare for the Practice: Rest your hands on your knees. Take a few deep breaths to relax your body and mind.
Use Nasikagra Mudra: With your right hand, use your ring finger to close your left nostril. This directs the breath through your right side.
Inhale Through the Right Nostril: Breathe in deeply through the right nostril, feeling your lungs fill completely. This activates the warming, energizing Pingala Nadi.
Exhale Through the Left Nostril: After a brief pause (if it feels comfortable), close your right nostril with your thumb and exhale slowly through the left nostril.
Repeat: Complete 9 rounds or more as you get more comfortable.
Note:
This practice is also known as Suryabhedan Pranayama and it is useful for those feeling low in energy or in need of better focus. However, if you have high blood pressure or heart conditions, consult a doctor before starting.
